Here’s what’s actually happening: male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) affects 50% of men by age 50. It’s not about stress or your shampoo or wearing hats. It’s about genetics and hormones, specifically how your hair follicles respond to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). The follicles miniaturize. The growth phase shortens.
